Can anyone tell me why the pictures are the same size as the thumbnails? I may as well not open them as when the reader opens the thumbnail the pictures are a viewable size.

That Volvo 262's a nice looking unit, very well appointed.
There's two for sale in Australia at the moment apparently, ones just over 8K, the other 12K

Ian, before you post your post, click on "preview post" first, then click on the pick, when it comes up in new screen, right click on your mouse on the big pic, copy it, go back to your preview post and paste it where you want it.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can then cansell or delete your thumbnails, but the enlarged ones will stay there.

Hope it helps.

I love these Cobra's, I'd almost give my left one for one.

Many years ago, a mate of mine was involved with the Robnell group down here and told me to show up at one of the rallies that was being held in NE Vic, based at Albury.
There I met the son of the guy who owns the Tattersall's thingy. He had his brand new Robnell Cobra there, looking gorgeous in Brittish Racing Green, and sounding horny as :D They all had to park out the back of the motel, with a few security guards around for good measure. Knowing of a few unsavoury characters in the area, I sugessted he park it in my garage for the two nights they were going to be there :D:D

When I went down in the morning to say g'day and see them on their way, he came to me and said he had wished he'd taken me up on the offer  Some creep had keyed it right down both sides, warranting a full respray etc. He was so ****ed off by what had happened, he didn't come back to Albury that night,, he just went back home :( Poor bugger, I felt for him.

I think he might just be talking about this one. The one you posted for young Mick,, who at this point is having trouble with a bottle of wine,,, so I'm doubtful the Merc would be in good hands with him ;)

Oh, my head....

Everything is fuzzy.

Ta, Ian, That is a W112 300SE. I have one of those but it is a four door.
Mine is not anywhere near the condition of that one. It certainly is an exceptional example.
Mmmm.....
Very nice.

I'm guessing he would be wanting $80k or more. I'd be better off spending that on mine.

V8Ian

That Merc looked concourse to my untrained eye Mick. I used to have one in gunmetal/metalic blue, unfortunately, only a matchbox one. It was my favourite matchbox car for a long time.

How much do you bet? How much can I take off you?
I can't remember ever having a Matchbox Mercedes. In recent times, though, I have collected a Corgi 300SL Roadster and a Dinky 300SL Gullwing.

I'm surprised Mick, I thought you had an extensive collection of Matchbox models.
I have a small box of Matchbox cars I had when I was a kid, well, what has survived.
I have a Franklin Mint Mini and XK120, three model cars that are about 8" long (SS-100, VC SLE & 4 door 300SE Fintail), the two 300SL Mercs as previously mentioned, three 1:43 101s, a 1:43 80" and an Aldi Discovery.
I'm looking for a VR.

Not what I would call extensive.
