Im looking at buying a supercharged MY11 L320 RRS with 118,000kms on it, can anyone tell me if that's a lot of kms for this and how long are these motors good for and with service intervals. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

I was talking to my indie re buying a supercharged L322 and he said the motors are pretty good and don't give many problems. The main issue he mentioned is with the electric coolant pump that cools the SC. However, he strongly recommended not buying one because the fuel consumption is enormous, country or city according to him, much more than the non supercharged V8, which is not what I was expecting to hear. He has clients that leave the SC RRS sitting in the shed and drive something else because the fuel costs too much, which seems pretty stupid to me but indicates that they use a lot of fuel.

He strongly recommended getting a TDV8 RRS from the D3 era for reliability and economy. I ended up not getting anything and stuck with the D4.

I live in the country and would be doing a lot of travelling I would need a long range tank, I cant seem to find who makes them for a RRS. Any ideas?

I have a Brown Davis LR tank on my D4 so I went to their web page and they make a similar 100l tank for the RRS.

Other D4 tank manufacturers will also probably do them for RRS as well.
