a different suspension lift

Hi All,
Just curious if anyone has tried or researched this style of suspension lift?

What peoples opinions are on the way, installing this set up, would effect the vehicles handling and components?

It's not actually a lift (although the kit includes some lift rods). It's more a way to prevent the car from dropping to the bump stops by means of a physical barrier. As I mentioned on some of the other forums, the problem is whether you can still get to access height - no one seems to be sure.

Funny thing is I nearly just PM'D you guys to ask both of you guys direct, to save starting a thread, as i was sure you'd have relevant information on them. I had other concerns about their effect on the vehicle but what you have posted is enough for me to know not to bother pursing any more information ie: waste any more time on research :D.

Just done a bit of a google search on these since the linked article was a bit vague. Looks like they just bolt to the top of the strut, so essentially its just moving the in built bump stop down. But I was wondering why the limit straps? Turns out that since the total travel range has been moved down by the spacers at full suspension droop you can do damage to the CV's - hence the strap to limit the drop to (what I assume) is the factory point. So in reality the maximum down movement of the wheel is the same as factory, but the up movement is now reduced - so less wheel travel overall. Seems like a waste of time to me.......
