Am I Jinxed, return to Lanfranchi Mine today to find out it is going on care and maintenance so last swing up here.
Has been a pretty ordinary fortnight, Dog has been ill with Cancer and had to have put down, Grandmother dies so had to go to Adelaide. After funeral ice addict boyfriend of niece decides he wants Ice, niece says no so punches the living daylights out of her, so treat her, restrain brother from killing this piece of **** and then having to deal with police until 4.30am. At least he will go away for a fair while this time. Then back home to find out mine is going on care and maint.
Well things have to get better.
Some casual work up at Dampier Sunday week that may have some ongoing casual work.
A bit over it all atm, at least I still have my health and so does my family.

Bad news Craig.
Meth is a big issue even in small country towns.Shame about the dog,she was such a happy soul.I would consider having one after seeing yours.
RE work, have a chat to BMKal,I here his mob are looking at getting a few contracts, they look after Lindsay really well.We have a new bloke just started here, did 3 years for them, got laid off.Speaks highly of them as a mining company to work for.
GOODLUCK
Andrew

G'day Craig,

I sort of understand what your going through mate. For me its just been one of those years as well to forget. I had a mate die a few months back, then my sister in law died a few weeks later, so I flew up there to help out with funeral arrangements and other stuff. Then just like yourself only 3 weeks ago, I had to put my dog " Sammy " to sleep as well. She was 14 yo and we had her since she was a pup.:( Funnily or stupidly though, this probably plays on my mind the most.

And now to top it off we have to move out of the rental property we are in within 4 weeks. So its all happening this year! But you know what we still have our health. And having family and friends to help out is a positive thing. I'm just looking forward to some warm weather down here in Victoria so I can go camping and just relax and forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Plus I've got another Land rover to work on to keep me busy.

Good luck with the job hunting. I'm sure you will find something soon!

Cheers

Chris

Yep, it has been one of those years or around 14 months I would just rather forget. Has been some good points, but way too many low ones.
Like you I think the worst was the loss of my dog or I should say best friend, it was so sad to see her go down hill quickly. At least when I got home from Adelaide the kids had had a live sized picture printed and framed for me of her. I suppose this week was hard as well as her ashes were returned last Monday as well, so at least she is home.
Gotta just focus on the positives, but seems to get harder and harder. I have always been one of those people that can bounce back, but I suppose as we get older it gets harder.
