I am picking up my new 2000 Td5 130 dual cab next week and was wondering what everyone's experience with 2 inch suspension lifts is?
I had a 110 a few years back with a 2 inch lift and 235/85r16 on it and loved it on and off road.

What brands have you used?

Definately not worth the hassle with a 130. They are actually slightly taller than the 110 anyway. You can have lots of issues with tailshaft angles etc and require a double cardin front shaft if raised by even sometimes an additional 25mm. You will also loose the heavy duty rear inner springs so drops the payload markedly.
Many have done it and been successful though so this is just my opinion. ☺

I have just lifted my 2002 130 . 3 inch springs front 2 inch spacer in the back . used a d2 driveshaft in the front but still have some vibration but I think I can only feel it because I put a tough dog panhard rod in with poly bushes  . I'm happy with how the car sits now as its level . I have +2 front land cruiser shocks in the front and +5 cruiser shocks in the rear pin to pin

Looks great.
I had OME in my 110 and they felt terrible around town.
Once they warmed up on the corrugations when loaded they were good.

How have you found them on the 130?

What are these cruiser shocks?
Part numbers or info would be great.

Horrible, but I knew that before I fitted them. But the price was right for the brand new set of 4 before my Cape York trip.

I used 60070 on all four corners with 3063 front coils and 3066 in the rear with all the canopy/draws/tent etc etc..

After the trip I took everything off the tub and swapped to 60018 and 3064 rears

Now in the process of rebuilding my fox shocks to fit

For the front I'm using king springs rr02 ,they make my front sit 60mm higher with a arb bar and warn winch .shocks are cheap eBay jobs for a 2inch lifted land cruiser 80 and they work great .rear end I am using a 50mm lift block terraferma with the standard spring without the inner spring ,raised pin shock mount with front shocks pin to pin that are for the front of a land cruiser 80 with a 5 inch lift .my setup is perfect and was cheap ,great onroad and great offroad

I get a little on decelaration around 40 k's but that's prob not related to the lift

Yes I slight buzz on declaration from the front drive shaft . I'm going to be running part time transfer case though so I can live with it for now
