G'day all!

After a few years contemplating, and a desire to get our camping kit sorted out to some degree, we're starting to seriously consider a Mulgo pop-top conversion.
Mulgo Expedition Vehicles ? Mulgo Pop Top for Land Rover Defender (http://www.mulgo.com.au/portfolio/mulgo-pop-top-for-land-rover-defender/)

Brett's recent video gave us more of an indication of what they're actually like inside, but we would like to see one in the flesh, and Sydney is a bit of a stretch to get to at the moment.

We were wondering if there was somebody with one of these conversions that lived a little closer to Brisbane/Sunshine Coast, that wouldn't mind us having a look and a little poke around.

Any feedback on those who have one would also be appreciated. I've spotted a few on the road, but I think they have been in-situ, and not locals...

Thanks!
Michael and Anneleis.

They're currently at the LR Expo in Sydney (as am I).

If it's helpful, let me know if you want any pics taken, questions asked, etc.

I was at Daniels shop last week, and checked out his old yellow 130 pop top and he had another 2 130 pop tops on the go. He said the turn around for the 110's has come down greatly. I wouldn't even hesitate. Book it in. Get it done. Don't look back. The workmanship is fantastic.

Daniel mentioned to me the other week that there's a lady in the Gold Coast who runs a surfing outfit. She has one pop-top and she's actually having another one done too for a vehicle she keeps in NZ.

I'm sure if you ask him, he'll contact her and see if she'd be happy to meet you for a viewing.

Dormobile Ltd - Lifting roof conversions for Land Rover, Bedford and VW, parts and spares (http://www.dormobile.co.uk/conversions.html)

G'day Jerry!

The Dormobile is always in the back of my mind. Any of the versions I have seen, though, have everybody sleeping separately. Just having a quick scroll through the site, PDF docs and pictures now, though, and there are a lot more options for sleeping than I thought.

Probably around the same ball park in $$$, by the time you convert those GBP over and factor in shipping.

We'll have another look!
