Immobiliser Problems

Need some urgent help with my Pirhana Imobiliser.
I was mucking around with it today, turned it on and then dropped the damned hand peice thingy. It stopped working, now my Disco's immobilised permenantly :evil:
To maske matters worse, I thought I'd just try to by pass it, :roll: , Shorted something and lost all my ignition lights :oops: It was too late to try and figure out the problem there, I'm sure it's just a fuse in the system somewhere. All the vehicle fuses are OK, I'm guessing it would be a fuse in the immobiliser system.
BUT
Once I figure that out I still need to bypass the immobiliser.
Any ideas????

Seeing its aftermarket its pretty hard for anyone to diagnose it.
Why not call the Pirhana agent and find out the wire colours into the alarm then bridge the correct ones.
The relays in an immobiliser work all the time even if it is turned off. A major cause of non starting old cars is that the alarm is still there even if turned off and the ignition still has to go through the relays. if you have blown the fuse to the alarm , the relays will not have power, therefore will not engage.
That is why the factory fitted Repeller in my 92 never had the immobiliser connected. The tech who has been around for ages told me that LR did not let them fit the immobilser to the 92 Range Rover as he smugly started it without the alarm connected.

perhaps on droping the unit you dislodged its internal battery????????

Pulled it apart and tried that landyandy. Battery's fine, maybe it's flat, just had enough guts to lock it and unlock it a few times, then that's it. Worth trying a new one at least. I haven't used it since buying the vehicle as the tab that hooks it onto the key ring was snapped off. Thought I'd give it a try, worked fine till the aforementioned dropping :roll:

And they draw some power - can flatten my car battery to a point where the car will not start in one week when the alarm is on and in two weeks when turned off.

some alarm/immob have a overide wher u leave the ign in the" on" position for 30 mins to 1 hr and it will overide and allow u to start the car, some have a secret code where u turn the ign key on and off the correct number of times depending if u know what the code is.
