defender lift to run 38's

can anyone tell me if there is anyone in oz that has done this kind of lift and is there any problems with doing it.

Looks like a lot of work, plus a big bill for engineers certificate. I would only go up to the 35's. unless if its for comp.

At the end of the day its still only standard suspension moved down for extra height, there are no added bonuses such as extra wheel travel or better handling etc...

You only have to trim and 2'' lift for 35's...+ upgrade your diffs.

With teh 38's rover stuff wont last, so you may aswell change to nissan or similar diffs and run 38s with modified suspension eg 4 link rear and 3 link + panhard rod front and adjust everything to suit.

Either way its a lot of work.

I dont think an engineer would pass those spacers either :? 8O

That would be an RTA engineers nightmare. Would have no real benefit unless using in snow or icy areas. Look s cool though. Maybe we could all get em and really annoy the pedestrian lobby group.
