Some over enthusiastic mechanic seems to have over-tightened the 10.9 grade bolt that holds the tensioner for the serpentine belt, resulting in the bolt head dropping off, tensioner moving and then serpentine disengaging. (3 months after the belt service, and well away from their workshop.... of course)
I cannot find an indication of what position the tensioner is bolted back to before applying its tension to the belt.
Does anybody have a diagram of where to position the tensioner, pre-tension?
After same service, for my next oil change, I also had to use a 3ft bar to undo underbody protector plate bolts and my oil sump nut. Figure mechanic either needs to re-calibrate his torque wrench, or cut back on the steroids (or I am just getting old).
