Thanks for posting that. Really enjoyed watching that. It brought back memories of being dragged around the South of England by my parents in the 70's
I now want to get a series landy and a period caravan. My wife just said she thinks I'm sad!
Thanks again.

One of my sons it is about to finish the restoration of an old Millard and just got a 2 door RRC to do a fully restoration to tow the van.
I used to live and tour in a motorhome for 2 years and now I have itchy feet again.
Looks like that I also have to start looking for a vintage van..............
It is interesting what they are saying about camping spots in UK and how they lost that freedom of stopping in their favorite spots.
We are lucky here if we know how to go about.
In the 2 years that we lived in the motorhome we only paid for 2 nights accommodation.

I was about 8 or 9 when my parents bought their first caravan. It was more mums idea than dads. Dad was a truck driver and I think deep down he hated mum dragging us all off.
It was interesting seeing a family at Stone Henge. We did that in our van too. I remember my sister and I running around the stones while mum made lunch in the van just off to the side. You couldn't do that now. It's all fenced off. It was free then too.
I don't remember staying in many parks though but it was the 70's so we might have as I get the impression from the video that free vanning was banned by then.
We are from Somerset and toured all the South Coast and Wales. Particularly Cornwall. A beautiful part of the world! My Kerry is Aussie and when we had a chance to travel overseas I wanted to show her Somerset and Cornwall. Such happy memories from my childhood.
