Trailer Brake Controller Installation L322 2004

So I have installed a RedArc Brake Controller to my RR. The wires are all in place and I have been following the site:
Installing a Trailer Brake Control in a Range Rover III/L322/LM (http://www.rangerovers.net/outfitting/towing/lm/brakecontrol.html)

But I'm now about to join the Brake Vehicle wire (RED) and according to the above it states to use the Blue/Black wire on the LCM. Has anyone done this and it works, just checking before I cut it!!

yes, worked in my '04. just check with a test light to be sure.

You can not connect to the pedal switch.
