I was lucky enough to spend the one year anniversary for the D4 on Moreton Island for the long weekend, camping with my wife.

Creek near Blue Lagoon campsite.
No better way to mark the occasion than being in an amazing place and experiencing things that are really made possible by having a 4WD.

Eastern Beach, Moreton Island. 5:30pm
But also a 4WD that is capable and comfortable in virtually any situation, including everything from touring around Australia (only around Qld so far), to 4WD'ing for fun, to perhaps most importantly being our only car living a normal suburban life in a big city.

We don't let her jump up to the tailgate anymore. 13yo is elderly.
Anyway, I don't have anything particularly insightful to say. Just wanted to mark the occasion in a place where I'm certain there's a few other people that feel the same way.
I still get a kick out of driving it virtually every time I get in, whether it's going down to the shops or going to Cape York.
And finally, there is absolutely no doubt that membership of this forum has enhanced my ownership experience.
Cheers,
Scott
