Only got about 10,000 K's out of my last ball joint before it starting knocking again, so time to swap it again... Anyone tried a high angle one?

Yes they work with less angle. Mine was a mr automotive aka maxi drive.
Costs a lot more, but is adjustable and grease able.
This is my second one, one before lasted 60000kms. That was all heavy duty off roading so is better than it sounds.
Still may well be dearer than replacing stockers.

Thanks Clive because the only other high angle one I found was a Britt part one and I haven't had much luck with longevity with some of there products

Have you got a link to the maxi drive one..?

a- frame ball joint (http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/product-category/suspension/a-frame/)Mine is from Gwyn Lewis. Apparently the install is much, much easier if you get the version that includes the housing.
