View Full Version : Shipping for Frontline Machinery auctions

Has anyone dealt with a good shipping company that has picked up items for them from the military auctions and delivered it for them?

I'm keen on getting a spare lt95 from the Minto auctions and possibly a No.5 trailer if the prices stay down, but its a bit difficult collecting being in WA. I need to chase up what shipping will cost to see if its even worthwhile.

Seeing as the auction is through Grays, don't they offer a courier service?

All the items list pickup only and that they are unable to organise shipping. They also have listed in the sale info:


Graysonline will not be organising transport of goods. Collection of assets is the responsibility of the purchaser, please consider this prior to bidding.

Bit of a bummer as it would be great to do it all through the bidding website.

OK, if you get stuck I could collect a gearbox/transfer & drop it off to a local transport depot. Minto is only 25min or so from me.


A No5 trailer might be pushing it though.

Thanks for the offer Scouse. I did some checking and shipping is looking more expensive than I thought it would be so not really an economical option it seems, especially when I can't check out the items in person. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that Perth gets some gearboxes.

I don't think there's too much you can check out on a gearbox before bidding. You'd have to assume one in a crate with 'no oil' on it has been rebuilt.


I've used Northline to get a dead car shipped from Perth to Sydney. While their Sydney depot isn't near me, it is around the corner from my Mum so dropping it off isn't an issue if you want to check them out.

Hi Have bought Perenties in Sydney Victoria and Sth Australia. I use McPhees Transport, they pick up and ship to Fremantle, I pick up from the depot Any thing else please ask
