Anyone done this before? Looking through the net, I have found a couple of mentions about using a VH44 remote booster in line between the clutch master and slave. Just got a thought bubble going on this as SWMBO has troubles in heavy traffic with the the clutch on the X Trail, and I'm thinking this could be a solution.
Before anyone mentions it - no, an Auto is not an option, she hates autos, and would prefer to live with a heavy clutch than drive an auto, but if I can make the clutch lighter, then all the better.
The other thought was a smaller diameter master cylinder but I don't think I'd get the throw I need if I did this.
Chinese VH44 knock offs are cheap, so I might just order one and give it a spin anyway, but if someone has done something similar and has anything to add, I'm all ears. :)
