It is in German but it is fun to watch what they do in this extreme test to a van.
I am surprised about the strength of the old van. If we do that with an Australian van it will disintegrate!
Have a look the chassis how simple it is,

The less heavy they are, the lighter the chassis components can be. I bet it's a foam sandwich 'van. With a VERY thick floor. The strength is in the floor, not the chassis.
