Hiyas
As yooz will all be aware the washers on a Deffie are a bit of a joke
Can't find a reference anywhere for the jets mounting and I'd like to remove it and convert the washers to a "rally" system; ie clear plakkie tube mit holes strapped to the wiper blades.
Anyone know how to get the jet assembly off, out, without having to pull the whole Puma dash out or smashing denting anything????
Cheers

I acquired a kit that you cable tie the twin jets to the wiper arms. Have not worked out the hosing but plan to add another pump with plastic flow filter. I was planning to leave the old one still on.. They sell similar kits on fleabay.

If it's the same double nozzle arrangement they used on mine, (97build) then you can just pry it off from the outside. Go carefully round and round and work it off. It's retained by an o -ring in compression. This leaves you with a little tube to which you can attach your hosing. I used black UV stabilised irrigation hose, about 3mm bore. The jet bars can be obtained from a wrecker of either Peugeot or Renault cars, I can't remember which. I've used ? 4mm brass modelling tube which works well, but it needs more that the 4 holes I put in as a stating point, and the ones from the cars are triangular so won't spin in their mountings as my prototype does. Mine's not photo worthy and needs to be rebuilt and tidied up, but it does work a treat and the windscreen gets wetter, more evenly with less water than with the original hobbies.
