I would like to fit a light bar to my MY16 D4.
The car will not have a bull bar.
What are my options.
I would like to keep it fairly discrete so do not want to mount 50" bar on roof.
We moved recently and I now live on a small dirt road that is not long, however there are roos on it frequently, my fyr lyts on the ranger picked them up before they became a problem.
Appreciate the advice.

Chuck, this is probably the best solution if you don't have a bullbar:

I'll do that. Hopefully he'll do a full post. That's exactly what I want to do (Fyrlyts, no bar).

Im happy to post his pics,BUT they have his no plate on them,Im not clever enough to edit them out.
As you say it would be good for a seperate thread on how he did it,the lightbar would obviously fit on the same setup.
He mentioned needing a bushfire warning for his Fyrlyt Nemesis, obviously a happy camper:cool::cool::cool::cool:

I have a big light bar on my roof rack. If I was doing it again I would put two smaller bars angled out at 10-15 degrees. The lights on my D3 give similar range to the combined spot/flood bar. I can see more animals in paddocks but still feel the side is where roos and similar seem to be the bigger risk and blind spot.
Just my opinion of course:D
