We seem to have bought another fire truck :D Not sure what the plans are with it yet, but runs sweet, has brakes so that is a start :) Not sure what to do with huge truck petrol tank on the back, maybe put it in a trailer so we can tour in the 101:angel: It has been in a shed not far from here for years.

Nice. Wombat's a '56 107 so I'll be able to use this as a reference... apart from the colour (I'm fixated on green and I don't think my daughter would come at red... unless I tell her it's a sports car).

With that tank, just plumb it in - you'll only have to fill up once a year

Great find, looks complete, enjoy the buzz.

I know the feeling, we have our 7th S1 now, hard to pass them by.

Can you tell me "wombats" chassis number

Mrs hh:angel:

Chassis number: 277600102 - same on the plate and stamped on the chassis.

Lotz-a-Landies supplied this

That buyer shown on the clip is the same as the name painted on her front mudguard.

Being sold that early in the year, you have to wonder if she isn't a 1955 build but I'm claiming 1956 because that's the year I was born :D

The Land Rover finishes end August and starts September my 80" was delivered 8/12/1950 to the dealer but is 1951.

Mrs hh:angel:

I saw that one, t'was on ebay?

looks like a ripper..

Surely a fire tender wouldnt go astray at your place at this time of year?
(just got back from 4th call out in 3 days... looks like a busy year coming!)

was it originally a fire tender or a ute with fire gear attached?

either way looked good for price, well done.

Nice tidy truck, I hope it has an alternator to power all those lights.

Cheers Steve

It seems to be an original wooden tray with all the markings/holes to say it has always been a fire tender. It has an alternator, yes and that is a huge light even the siren works :)
