I have a moderately leaky EAS. Overnight the front goes down, the rear goes up a bit and most of the air disappears from the tank. I've replaced all O rings (twice) and the diaphragm (twice), but still suspect the NRVs cos the front rises slowly with pump on. The second O ring kit seemed to have better O rings for the NRVs. However, I fitted an isolator switch and find the whole thing fairly useable if I wait a while for it to level out before driving anywhere, then isolate it.
Next thing I thought I'd do is replace the solenoids as there must be some leakage across the seals there for the fronts to go down. I refaced the solenoid plungers a while back in a drill press on very fine wet and dry paper to remove the heavy grooves from the rubber seals - certainly improved matters but I guess the rubber is just too old and hard.
So I bought some solenoid "repair kits" STC2761 but find that they are only a coil and a couple of screws. Not much of a repair kit eh? Does anyone do a complete solenoid?
I'm very close to buying a complete manifold from island 4x4 as that's the only way I know to get all the solenoids.
