Hi, can anyone let me know if there is anyone capable of ecu remapping/tuning a td5 in Townsville?

What year is it? I have a Nanocom with unlocks for disco and defender.

Or call Matty at Mark Nixon automotive. They do the Bruce Davis remaps.
I have a BD remap in my 2000 130 and don't particularly like it.
Plenty of others do. I just find that the right pedal is no longer a throttle, but an on off switch.

Lazy me. I see you have an 03 Defender. That means you can purchase a map file from Jose at Td5 Inside and remap your ECU with a Nanocom.

A common trait in BD maps - hasn't changed in 15 years... ;)

Many do it with no issues. If you can navigate a forum and drive a vehicle you will be fine☺

You could borrow my Nanocom if you want to keep costs down.

very nice of you Will. I might get in contact with TD5 inside and come back to you one day. Thanks.

Will, what exactly do you mean the throttle is an on/off switch. how exactly does the vehicle respond to everyday driving? is this on/off affect your off road performance at all?

I have found that the instant the car comes on boost, the car takes off like a shot and there is very little play in the throttle between progressive acceleration and rocket sled.

Matty does a good job, I think Rhys at Stuart Drive Auto might also be able to do remaps, not sure on TD5's, but he does all common rails over the last 10yrs or so.
Cheers
