Hi all.

After getting home from a trip, plugged in the nanocom to check for anything logged - love seeing no errors anywhere. Helps with peace of mind.

Only thing I noticed was in the airbags section, the settings for pasengrtand driver air bags it had the setting as 'not fitted'. Does this mean that they aren't currently active? Should I switch them to active?

Hi, do you own the car from new? , cos if not it's possible that the previous owner was involved in a accident and the bags were deployed then being expensive he didnt fit new ones at all just disabled the system ... better investigate befiore activatiung them cos if they are not there or it's a fault you'll get the SRS warning

Are you referring to suspension air bags or SRS airbags(dash/steering wheel)?

If suspension, when turned off it disables the air compressor for the system.
This is often done when the rear air bags are replaced with coils.
If the air bags are fitted it should be turned on.

SRS has been covered rather well in the previous post.

Sorry - was referring to SRS.

I may need to switchthem on and check for the SRS light. Thank you for your help

If you get an airbag warning once its re-instated,check the passenger airbag coupling under the passenger seat(yellow plug),simply clean it with electronic cleaner. The SRS MAY have been disabled to stop a dash light, the seat sensors(both front) and the join behind the glove box are usually the culprits and simply need cleaning.
