The colour pics at the bottom make it look like it would be an awesome walk to do, or even on a bike. Its a shame they reckon they'll never open it again, but here's hoping tourism wins over.

Wow, that's some engineering feat! Pity it's closed to everyone - It should be open to at least hikers and cyclists. I thought we were a nanny society...
