I'll be up at my new works head office in Sydney on Tuesday through to Thursday - in the Eastern Creek area. If anyone is up for a catch up, a couple of drinks or tea, etc, let me know. Not sure where exactly I'm staying yet, but it is fairly close to the office I am lead to believe. I won't have access to a vehicle but happy to travel if someone can pick me up and drop me back. :)
If next week doesn't suit, no biggy, I'll be back up there again on a semi regular basis.
I'll also be in Adelaide the week after for a night, I'll post details when I know which night, I've not caught up with my SA friends for some time - looking forward to getting back there too. :)

The 2 days of the week that are long hours for us, wouldn't be able to get over that way till after 8.30pm.

I could be up for that providing I can get the missus home in time to look after the kids.
I'm not sure what there is in the way of drinking holes / eateries in Eastern Creek though but there's a nice place called Mount Druitt nearby anyway.

The Cricketers Arms Pub is close by Eastern Creek. Not bad meals and a nice Pub. If you are staying in accommodation at Eastern Ck it may be at the Hotel nearby the Raceway?
We will be in for a catch up ....but can't do Thursday. Will be happy to pick you up and drop you back too:)
Cheers, Erich

Just got some details back - staying at the Travelodge Blacktown, so about 15 minutes from the office according to Google.
Any good pubs around there? :)

Just thinking that Wednsday evening would suit best - my day on Tuesday will start around 4am so I probably won't be much fun on Tuesday night. ;)

The Blacktown Travelodge is on Reservoir Road...quite close to the Pub I suggested earlier. Don't go to Blacktown much....so not sure of any good restaurants/pubs. I think there is a Club next to the Travelodge, but can't comment on it as we have never been there.
Google up the Royal Cricketers Arms Pub and check out their menu/prices. Tuesday looks busy (Melb Cup Day) which is OK for your early night. So suggest Wednesday..we can pick you up at your Hotel. We have been to this historic Pub several times and it's quite nice.
If there will be a large group, we may have to book.
Anyhow, we will fit in with what ever anyone else is happy with.

Brisbane certainly does have a branch. :)
It will be a couple of months before I get up there though - probably in the new year I would think. I've got plenty to do getting the Southern States in order first, and as head office is in Eastern Creek, I'll probably get up there a few times a year at least I would think. When I get to travel up your way, I'll definitely be letting you all know. :)
Probably got a Darwin trip and a Whyalla trip in there somewhere as well.

That's, umm, unlikely.... :D
I only have to wear slacks and a polo shirt - if I got too dressed up, my customers would get suspicious... :D

Ok, made it here. Been a big day, so not doing too much tonight, but the Cricketers Arms sounds like the go tomorrow night. It looks like it is almost walking distance from here, but if someone still wants to pick me up, I won't say no. :)
Thinking around 6 to 6.30?
If someone needs my number, let me know and I'll PM it to you.
Looking forward to catching up. :)

I'm now with Premiair Hire - a specialist company that just does Compressors, Generators, lighting and Traffic Management. They have 12 branches down the East Coast, Melbourne and Adelaide. I don't think the owner has any plans for the West at this stage.

Please text me your mobile number in case.
