2001 defender fuel pump connectors

hi all , dropped the fuel tank off the defender last night (pump buggered), and it fell off the jack.As everyone who has done this before will know i broke all 4 connectors off the lines. seriously thought there would be more slack. can any one help with some where to find them and then a way to install. was thinking of using a heat gun to remove broken stalks and reinstalling new ones the same way. any advice warmly welcomed. shane

does any one have some suggestion on joining the fuel lines on the td5. having broken all 4 connectors to the fuel pump from the lines i now can find no info on how to install the new connectors to the existing fuel lines.is it possible or is a new set of lines the only option. cheers shane.

Pull the old ones out, then push the new in and secure with a hose clamp.

that was my plan but the lining inside the outer rubber housing is so inflexible as to make it impossible to push the new connectors in. with a little heat applied it simply collapses into a soft sticky mess.finding it very frustrating. really should have taken more time with my jack in the first place.
