Well, for those that dislike V8 Supercars (not me), there should be joy for you, with the inaugural Bathurst Six Hour for "Production Cars", to be held in March next year.
There are already FIFTY entrants, and a field in the seventies is quite possible, with entries not closing until Feb 2016!
All sorts of cars, V8s, turbos, Holdens, Mitsubishise, Fords,...etc etc.
Should be a good one, I hope they can achieve some FTA TV coverage.

Pickles the 6-hour will be live streamed so for anyone with a Smart TV and reasonable internet (ADSL) connection you will be able to watch it live in full in your lounge on the day in HD.

Also the 6-hour and just about all other Australian Motorsport other than the V8's can be watched on mobile phones or tablet live or after the event via the MotorsportsTV app.

At this stage there will be FTA TV with a one hour post produced show on SBS a Speedweek, but all going well that may also increase.

great to hear BUT inaugural ??

No outright declared only class winners. The Geoghegan Bros did the most laps in a Daimler.

I'm sure it will be. How they categorize/calculate classes etc will be very interesting.
They have also said that 75 entries could happen, so with that many cars on the track, with all the speed differentials that will occur, should make for some very interesting scenarios.

Sounds exciting.
I'm guessing, it's more like what The Bathurst 1000 used to be. Seems like that to me.
I'll be watching it.

Wouldn't have a clue, but I read on SpeedCafe, that they already had 50 confirmed entries, & were thinking that they may get 75?
