I was talking to the local servo on the weekend and one of their customers does it. He empties the tank, certifies it, then returns the gas to the tank. They were going to get his contact details for me as I have a tank that needs to be tested.

I had my twin tank setup tested only a month ago, $440, but these use a multivalve fitting which is the most expensive type to have tested. If your tank has seperate valve fittings for inlet, outlet and pressure relief then it will only cost about $80 + parts (a few o rings etc).
Check the yellow pages for gaslife, he is a mobile tester and will come to you, also Gary's mobile testing - both operate all over Mel.
