Hey can anyone help with advice. My Series 3 1979 starter is rooted and I need to get it recond or get another. Does anyone know where in Sydney to get recond done or to get new one? All advice greatly appreciated thanks.

Is it a Diesel or Petrol if its Petrol is it a Four or Six??

do you know for sure its the starter and not the solonoid?

Are you sure its the starter? What are the symptoms? Assuming it is a four cylinder petrol, the most common problem is a sticking pinion, which is easily fixed at no cost. If not this problem it is most likely to be sticking brushes, again easily fixed at no cost.
