Can anybody tell me how to calculate the length of this triangle? I've got all the sin cos tan tables . It's just that I don't know how to use them. It's more than half a century since I learnt this in school. Thank you. .W.

Tan
Find the length of the side ?:
Step 1 The two sides we are using are Opposite (a)
and Adjacent (7).
Step 2 SOHCAHTOA tells us to use Tangent.
Step 3 Write down the fraction for tan 11 deg = Opposite/Adjacent = ?/19184
Step 4 Solve:
Start with: tan 11 deg = ?/19184
Swap: ?/19184 = tan 11 deg
Calculate: ?/19184 = 0.19438030913
Multiply both sides by 19184: ? = 0.19438030913 ? 19184
? = 3729 (rounded up)
Side "?" = 3279
