Land Rover meet/greet/4x4 day - Mackay area

I see around every-so-often that people organise days out with other LR nerds. I live in Mackay and can never get to Perth, or Melbourne, Brisbane to attend.

So I was thinking I'd put the idea out there to gauge if other people from the Mackay area would be interested in a day out? Maybe go for a 4x4 and do lunch somewhere in the bush at one of the dams?

Like I said, just want to throw the idea out there and see who would be keen. Ideas and suggestions welcome. :)

I'm thinking maybe doing a day trip up to denham range. Have lunch then come home via a loop.
