I've read that towing shouldn't be done in the break in period. However, I have a pre booked camping trip 3 weeks after I'm set to get my D4. I tow an unbraked camper trailer possibly around the 750kg mark. I'll probably have about 1200kms on it by then and am only towing it 200 kms. What would you do?

I'd tow it, but just ease up a bit on the hills.
It'll hardly know it's behind anyhow.

What he said.

By then you would have done over a thousand ks.

I would do it no problems at all.

Just drive it normally.

I asked LR when I bought the car regarding a break in period, especially with respect to towing.
I was told that I could tow from day 1....

BTW - I am towing 1.5t hardfloor camper... as of today I have about 18000k on it. About 40% with CT in tow...

I wouldnt be concerned at all.
Its not a big heavy trailer, you wont even know its there;););).
Best thing for a new engine is a load on a hill, helps bed the rings in nicely.
