Looks to me like some guy spent a lot of time fixing this S2 88 but neglected some , erm important things. Nonetheless, I'm struck by the histrionic tone of the Americans inspecting the vehicle- joyfully pointing out lots of things, some significant, most less so. Apparently the chassis damage evident above the right front spring hanger escaped their attention. I was shocked when I saw that.
Apparently the vehicle sold in the US off eBay for $20k US.

Thanks for sharing, this is all very scary but great entertainment at the same time. Commiserations to the buyer. I'm wondering what happened as a result of this Ebay transaction, as my experience is that Ebay will protect the buyer in almost every instance. I've never sold a car or anything on Ebay (and never intend too considering their fees!), so their policies might be different for cars etc. But considering how misleading and inaccurate the description was, surely the poor buyer was able to get something back on this transaction. It would be very interesting to know.
