Does anyone know what type of bulb fits in the standard analogue clock in a 200tdi? Mine has been missing one since purchase.
Will get a photo of the back of the clock when I'm home, but the bulb appears to push in from behind with a negative terminal around the edges, and presumably there is a positive wire/terminal poking out the back of the bulb....

Is it the same clock in the 300Tdi? If so, what does RAVE say/show? (I don't have RAVE with me to check for you.)
That looks very much like a RRC clock PRC4370 The bulb could be a wedge base in holder.
Wait....
A couple of minutes with Google identified the bulb as a common as muck 1.2 watt, 12 volt, wedge base. But you need the bulb holder, too.
This is the rear of such a clock:

Now that you know what the bulb is, you can do a bit more research and find the equivalent LED bulb to replace it, as I did. It is also worth replacing all the other dashboard bulbs and the interior light with LEDs.

Brilliant, that's the clock. I couldn't for the life of me find a part number.

Yep, that's the plan, except unlike most people I want dimmer lights in the dash for night driving, so hopefully I can find LEDs that put out less light than the incandescent equivalents.

My old 200Tdi's dash lights were that good I had to light a match to see if they were on:o

Haha, I'm the opposite. The only lights that I consider to be suitably bright are the fuel and speedo backlights. Everything else is a bit too bright, but the worst are the temp and battery gauges. They reflect pretty badly off the driver window at night making it impossible to see what's outside in that spot.
