Hi,
I am trying to get some Deep Bronze Green paint made and I have 2 codes which are 0428 and 38500 which is a DuPont Centari code. The paintshop system doesn't recognize either code so my question is if there is an Australian code for it that they would recognize?
Thanks,
Ed

You'll find a lot of threads on this subject.
Problem is the pigments have changed over the years so you need a formula that uses modern pigments.
Hopefully someone has had some mixed recently and can provide the formula.

"The Deep bronze green as applied to the S2 and 2A just wouldn't look right, but the 'Spareco' mix of 'Ascot Bronze Green' is pretty close to what I like, as it is a lighter version of Bronze Green and close to the Series one's original finish coat. "

I'm guessing you were able to spray it okay and that it's lasted well? (that's more what I meant actually, but your reply made me aware of the lighter colour when I'd missed when first reading your thread)

I got mine mixed by a local paint shop, I used BS381-224 deep bronze green but it is satin finish not full gloss, it still has a shine. It is the British standard paint code no. The info came from the UK series one club, that's what they use.
Dinty also used it to paint his one
