I am moving to Sydney for work at the start of next year. And was hoping to get some advice on a good service centre. At the moment i am using AMV in Ringwood, Vic. And love them. As i will be traveling between the states. If i am down this way when the time hits i will go back to them. But i need something up there too in case i break it.

I am staying around the Marrickville area while in NSW and i would prefer to stick with someone who can keep filling out the logbook. As its been serviced and signed on time up to now.

Any advice would be great thanks.

You will be right near Graham Cooper automotive he is only up the road and a lr specialist. Haven't used him myself as i do all my own work but get all my spares through them. They are a great bunch of guys and very happy to answer any questions you may have.

Once my warranty had run out I started using Ayres Automotive in Brookvale as they are Land Rover specialists.

Might be a bit of a trek for you as you're based in the southern part of Central Sydney but it's an easy drive.

They are seriously good and there are 300 buses a minute into town from close by where they are (near Warringah Mall).

I even drive down from the Central Coast to go and drop Monty off with these guys. Services are thorough and they always call if something needs replacing to ask me preference and so on.

There is a LR Dealer there, in Rockdale I think, I can't recommend them as I know nothing about their service centre. But Graham Cooper would definitely be your option. I have never used him personally but have always heared positive feedback over the years. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

Graeme Cooper's is a short walk from the station. Haven't been using them as now living interstate but they were very good and knew defenders.

Thanks for that. Looks like Graeme Cooper is the way to go and will be nice and close. I'll check them out when i am up there. Brookvale is a possibility as i do my training right near the Mall. But its also a bit more of a trek.

Well in a few months i'll be up there and ready to play. So i'll post again to find trips with the Sydney drivers.

I'll second (or third or fourth) graeme coopers. They inspected my D3 before i bought it and were very thorough. Their opinion was backed up by my indie when i got it back to the coast. Ward is the main service guy there and he seems to know all things land rover.

Cheers

Had my first service, 10,000km, done this week by Cremorne Prestige in Hotham St Artarmon.

They hosted a Get to Know Your Defender session for the Land Rover Owners Club during the year, which I went to, and so I booked my 110 in for its first minor service before the 20,000km LR service.

Very happy with the service and outcome.

Good recommendation for the north side.

Graham cooper automotiive. Had been taking my vehicle to my dealer for the 1st two years , for the last year of warranty i have been using graham cooper for two reasons:
1- with the warranty about to expire they will let mw know if anything needs to be looked at or replaced under warranty.
2- the vehicle is handed back to me with a properly done service. Quieter, smoother.....you can tell its been serviced properly and not by a 1st year apprentice

Besides these two driving factors you will also be impressed on the price i think. Its a fair bill for peace of mind, if that makes sense......

Worth the money

2.2 110 limited edition, Davis remap, intercooler, exhaust, snorkel, first four bb, apt tree sliders, apt diff guards, terrafirma rear bumprettes, mantec rear wheel carrier, Uniden UHF, hema HN7, roof rack, custom made rear draws, dual battery setup, hella ralye 4000 xenon lights, engle fridge setup, puresine invertor.......coming soon upgraded suspension, diff locks and 33s, nearly finished
