4.4l petrol chain noise?

Hey guys/girls

I have a hum coming from my engine. passengers side. To me it sounds like a worn out chain guide. Has anyone had this problem in the past? And where would be the best place to get guide kits from? I have been doing some looking around and i cant seem to find anyone who stocks them in australia.
