I have just watched this 2013 documentary about the North African campaign in WWII.

It features interviews with members of the Rats of Tobruk mixed in with dramatisations of events and real footage. What amazing men. I always ask myself if I would have had the ticker to do what they did. The thought of their (soldiers of now and past) bravery and sacrifice always puts a lump in my throat.

Anyway, for those that have not seen it:

Yep, read many books and I have seen many documentaries on the "Rats of Tobruk". they were up against a very astute German general called Rommel who gave them an extremely hard time, but they persevered and won through in the end.
The thing I mostly admire is after what they went through they were called back home and fought the Japs at Kokoda...............true heroes indeed!!!:)
