Spent the day yesterday throwing out all my video tapes and cassette tapes as I no longer have anything to play them on . Reminds me when we threw out all our 8 tracks a few moons ago .
If the moguls come up with something to replace CD & DVD that's it , I will just listen to the Wireless and watch TV .

oh and wireless has a new meaning these days. The kids of today will think you are talking about wifi

interestingly I heard that some band has just released a cassette only new recording. and the vinyl record is making a resurgence

I have a cubic foot of records that I'm never throwing out,, and as soon as we stop moving around I'm going to buy one kick ass record player with speakers that blow out candles. :cool:

No probs , mostly old movie tapes and crap that I recorded from tv , and most cassette tapes I now have on cd .

Same here , bought myself a turntable and have the kick arse player , as I live on 5 acres there s no probs in giving it work out when the handbrake is away .
