View Full Version : NRMA Battery Replacement

I was talking to a chap today who just had to have the battery replaced in his L322. He called the NRMA battery service.

The NRMA came, told him the bonnet had to come off to replace the battery, and charged $350 for the battery and $200 to fit it. That's what the NRMA's instructions apparently show.

Neither of them knew how the bonnet could be moved to the vertical position to gain access.

I showed the owner how. It's the same method on the P38A.

I hope he goes back to the NRMA and asks for a $200 refund!

Found this out by accident when I did my engine conversion. My problem was I snapped the brittle windscreen washer hose connection.

You should send that youtube link to the NRMA.

They (Gems) look great without all the accessories mounted up front.
