After nearly 8 years in Sydney I am relocating to Melbourne for work.

I'm looking forward to the move (as it mainly means I no longer fly down on a Monday and fly back on a Friday for months on end) but need to adjust to a new city. Mind you, it's hardly a new city really, I've been there on and off for the best part of the last 4 years.

Anyway, the advice I need is:

1) Where is a good Land Rover mechanic in Melbourne? I will be living in Ascot Vale so preferably somewhere around that way.

2) My roof lining is sagging. Can anyone recommend an auto upholsterer in Melbourne? Preferably a mobile one who can replace the whole lot?

Thanks in advance!
Sam

LRA are just up the ring rd in thomastown other than that most are in the east , if you take the lining out it will be cheaper to recover or you could go the paint option.

I know its a bit out of your way but try these guys. Very good in my opinion. I lived in Frankston for years, they are very well known.

I always had good service from Lance Dixon, but it has been over 5 years since I last used them.

Is the Romsey crowd still doing Landrovers? They would be worth asking.
There is also a fellow down Braybrook way.

Marty might be able to give you a heads up on who can do the headlining. That fellow did the headlining of the Commodore. I'm happy with it.

I live close to Lance Dixson but have not used them myself. AMV Automotive Services are another good option IMO

I have used these guys before. They're a long way from Ascot Vale.

If you can remove & replace yourself there is a guy in Footscray that does a good job at a good price.
