Hi everyone. I have a question about a defender. I need to know if the front guards finish level ish with the front of the chaises or do they finish short & the front of the chassis hang out past the guards. Would anyone have pics they could post up for me.
I'm building a series 3 tray back with stage one front end onto a disco.
Not on a defender the bulkhead bolts on to the rear of the outriggers but on a series they bolt onto the front side of the outriggers. I've been cutting the old body mounts outriggers off the disco ready to welt on the new ones. But I put em upto the chassis where there to go & it looks like I'll have enough room to bolt them on either front or rear of the outriggers. So if the defender guards sit level ish to the very front of the chassis I can bolt to the front side. But if they are back a bit I can bolt on the rear side of outriggers.
