Hi People.
I have some AULRO stickers for my D4.
Any advice on how to stick them to RainEx treated glass???
Dont want them peeling off in a few months.

How do I get it off my P38A to put it on my L322? :D

The stickers with AULRO and username don't seem to be available anymore. :(

Ron, I was expecting 'p38arover' to be gone by now - I'll come up with something appropriate & change it soon. Then you can go ahead & order a NEW sticker when the time is right.

No need to thank me, it's just part of the AULRO service.

I was hoping to sell it, just as one sells personalised plates.

I'd give the class a couple of good cleans with metho and allow to dry.

Give the glass a clean with one of the "creme cleaners" (bathroom stuff) they are very mildly abrasive, wont hurt the glass, but the best thing I've come across for getting grime grease etc off glass.
Finish with a wipe with some ethanol/Metho etc.

Amen to that. Or 'non-silicone' car polish. - Water should smooothly cover the polished area, with NO hint of 'beading'.

- To be obsessive.... get some cerium oxide ( a.k.a. ceric oxide) and wet-polish with that. - Get some from your favourite supplier of telescope mirror-grinding supplies...:p
IF you can't help yourself from going overboard, then... finish off with Jeweller's rouge, (a.k.a. finely ground ferric oxide) also from above.

Or a bespoke glass/window supply house.

Start cheap and work up to the limit of your CDO ('OCD' as it should be written)

GavinWibrow over here has an ingenius solution. - He's sandwiched the sticker between two pieces of Perspex. - 'Ebenezer' has TWO Landies and ONE sticker. - Puts it on the inside windscreen/window of whichever is his Flagship for the day...:p:p:p

Anyone know when the next run might be ? - Am too much in debt to sell 'The Lady Sarah' so may as well get one. - REALLY don't think one of "Someone Else's" spares would be...appropriate.

That's clever... laminating might also be a solution.

Sorry Dave et al but could never see the sense in an outside glass stuck sticker which slowly peels off on the edges, even though production is no doubt easier.

I concur, laminating would be good. I just didn't have access to a laminator at the time. Also laminated versions are easier to stick on the inside glass but remain removeable easy peasy eg blu tac.

Clean with prepsol and stick it on... then re-apply rainex over/around it.

I hope the next run is solid vinyl that is cut out, not this printed garbage, can hardly see it on a car with tinted windows! Its way too transparent.

Next sticker I'll laminate and stick it to the inside of the window on the Defender, as the one on the Disco faded and marked over time.
