Replacing injectors on 2011 PK Ford Ranger

Anyone familiar with replacing the injectors on a Ford Ranger? We have a 2011 PK 3.0DT model which we have been advised that the injectors require replacing after failing a spill test. I believe that the motor might be of the same family as the Defender's Puma. Is it a DIY job or anything specific required?
