I cannot deliver a better Christmas message to everyone I know than this.
10 days out gives us all plenty of time to reflect upon other peoples plight.
This song puts it all together.

And Merry Christmas to you and all close to you. Ghandi was a great teacher.

Yep a real stand up guy. Especially blaming sexual predation squarely at women

Don't get me wrong - he did some amazing things. Misogyny isn't his finest legacy though.

My point wasn't to derail a Christmas message although I seem to have successfully done that. My point was that one needs to be considerate of an entire person's character and that everyone is flawed. There is no such thing as a saint.
Perhaps we should focus on the spirit of forgiveness and to realise that to err is to be human?
I am also bound to call it as I see it. Apologies to those I've offended but Gandhi definitely wasn't a saint in all his views.

Unfortunately many of these scenes are being relived right now all over the world. I makes me very thankful that I live here and get to raise my children here.

That's ok, mate. Ghandi was human, and flawed like the rest of us. But what he achieved was exceptional. A bit like some one else who was born over 2,000 years ago. In these difficult days, I try to focus on the positives, but be aware of the negatives. And I feel profoundly happy, and fortunate, to live where I do. Here's hoping for a better 2016 for many around the World
