Yeah, we have a big one just north of the RAAF base at Williamtown. Is it my imagination or not, when the school holidays start, so do the fires?????????????

Yes they have one at Wandin North which is about 30 to 40 mins away from us.
Tomorrow is going to be another hot day. There is one about an hour drive from Maryborough where my son lives with his girl friend. Not looking forward to these hot days and the fires. Just hope we do not get one near us. Mario said last night that I should get the insurance paper etc together, just in case. The joys of living in the bush. Just watching a news report of a fire just south of you Mick, looked like a Series? involved, none of yours I hope.

Nup. None of mine.
Friends have bought a house up to the north of the fire. They're moving in this weekend after collecting the keys yesterday.
A cool change has gone through and the wind has dropped. All is well here.

Could smell the smoke from the Epping fire at my place earlier when it was windy.... No good!

The Epping fire was deliberately lit. It beggers belief that some one would do that.

The Epping fire was deliberately lit. It beggers belief that some one would do that.

So was the Elaine fire I'm told.

Did a trip to Melb yesterday. The M31 was closed at the Craigeburn by pass.

Had to go down the old Hume. It was like week day peak hour traffic, only this was midday Saturday.
