View Full Version : Off to Yass this morning

I am heading to Yass for Christmas this morning. Give us a wave if you see us on the Mitchell Hwy or Lachlan Valley Way - easy to identify; a blue 110 pulling a large flatbed trailer, and driving carefully, as the trailer has some fairly fragile furniture on it.

Have a safe, trouble free trip & a happy Christmas with the grandkids John.

Thanks again for your recent hospitality. We had a good run home with about a 3 hour stop at LR friend at Mullion Ck. Only problem was a blown rear tyre between Bathurst & Lithgow.

It's 30C here already! Fortunately, I got the aircon fixed last Monday!

It's cooling down after today.

There's quite a few Landy's running around Yass although the last couple of times I was in town I was in the Mercedes work van.
They make a mean Lamb Burger in one of the little caf's in the main street too.

I'm off to Alice Springs at the end of the week so probably won't cross paths John. Would've been nice to say hello.
Have an uneventful trip. :D

I assume then that the glass tt arrived safely in one piece along with the rest of the trailer load.

Looks like you brought some rain with you, only 2mm but at least it cooled things down a bit.

Haven't unloaded the trailer yet - too hot yesterday and raining this morning!
