Hi all , does S1 with a 6 Holden motor effect the value by much ? I have a spare series 1 motors which I can fit and understand that the chassis was modified for the 6 were the mods extensive ?

Depends on the buyer.
An enthusiast will pay a premium if it has the original motor. Also makes them more salable.
I've seen restored examples command $25k to $40k. None of those had Holden motors.

From memory, the front cross member has to be cut and an "L" shaped plate welded into it to accommodate the longer engine. This means if you can't use the crank handle if you revert to the original engine. In addition, the radiator is moved forward, necessitating cutting the rear grille panel.
