AULRO needs another warning system. :censored:

It sent a birthday greeting to my wife this morning. Why wasn't I sent a heads up yesterday?

I only cottoned on that I'd forgotten when Elisabeth started getting a number of phone calls from family and friends this morning and I overheard the conversations. She said she was waiting to see just how long it took me. We were at the local coffee roaster having a coffee when it did (as she took another call).

I must remember to put her birthday into my phone.

Next to the house phone there lives the large wall calendar that, when put up on the first of January, has all the important dates entered on it in advance. No excuses then relying on someone else to do your remembering for you. :)

What's a calendar? I didn't know people still used printed ones. :D

That's blasphemy. The holy (literally), headpiece of the pastafarians is the colander

Probably used by the same people who use printed maps.:)

Not to be confused with a calender.

(It's hard to find a pic of a calender because so many people spell "calendar" as "calender".)

Yes, my wife is proficient in the art of page turning and doesn't want this important craft skill to die out. She has a traditional street directory and something called a "diary", even says so on the cover. :)

I was doing some christmas shopping today. I nearly bought you a Star Wars calendar, Ron, but then I remembered you do not celebrate christmas.

Know how you feel Ron.

Have remembered my wife's birthday tomorrow - just forgot the bit about card and present bit...

As soon as we flew into Adelaide this afternoon I made a beeline to a newsagents. Will rectify the present tomorrow.

Hello Ron,

Hmmm if you have a look at the horizontal bar that appears just below the AULRO banner and count in four items to the left a very familiar word may appear.

I think that it might exonerate AULRO from any shortcomings after all. Oh it is the one in-between "Games Arcade" and "Markets" When you click on the link to it there is line that even says "Birthdays". :p

Kind Regards
Lionel

It sent a birthday greeting to my wife this morning. You could always change Elisabeth's birthday in the AULRO system to give you a bit of notice.

I did the opposite once - I organized a surprise 40th birthday party for my wife. When the guests arrived she thanked me, but said I was a year early as she was only 39!
Still, I got credit for at least getting the date right.
