View Full Version : Chrissy tree
Hall

Was the other night sitting in our lounge watching the telly. Missus said to me this is our Christmas tree. Now this fake tree, to me at least said, I could not give rats about Christmas. It was only about 400mm high, a few main branches with no smaller ones or needles. Just a bit sad. So tonight we got a 1800 high fake tree. Was on special for $15 from Spot light. Took over half an hour to get it set up as there is so much tree. Not a connoisseur in fake crissy trees, but to me this was a bargain.

We have not put up a tree this year. One son has move out and the other son has gone to Philip Island for the week with his mates.
Too busy with orders and knocking out the wall between kitchen and dining room.

I like a real tree but I am a bit biased as I sell a few thousand a year. Hard work but we can never supply the demand for them which seems to be growing each year.
We also offer a removal service after Xmas. Just a photo of a small load going out with my young bloke - yes I know it is a Toymota but I don't want to use the Defender for doing this.

I dug up and potted the daughter's Christmas tree for her. Then it died. So now we're at the beach and not going to bother with a tree.

That is bloody awesome! Might try to convince the MRS to upgrade for next year.
We just have a $15 bargain bin tree too - 1.8m high, looks ok.

We have an 8ft monster that we got for free (my parents won it in a raffle years ago). Apparently its RRP was $400!
I bloody hate packing it up - we have to hug it (itchy!) and glad wrap it (seriously) to fit it in the box (the box is about 1.7m tall!). :wallbash: :banghead:
Looks good though (sorry no photos as we're not home for christmas) and the wife loves it. Id be happy with one of those small trees with all the lights and decos permanently installed...
Cheers

Hi,
You would think someone would have developed a projected holographic one by now.

A week ago, my daughter (14), asked me if we were having a Christmas tree. I asked "where?"
Haven't heard a peep since.
