My wife bought me a set of Hella 4000 compacts. She said she had had enough after a year of me dropping hints.

The D1 copped a new Bluetooth hands free for the Light of My Lifes mobile as the hands free on her GPS unit was somewhat temperamental. (I did suggest she swap from the female voice to the male which drew a less than happy response!) :D

Well I was given a Bissell auto spot cleaner for car upholstery and carpets. ;)

Funny thing is though that the carpets and upholstery in the D4 is very clean and has always come up well after a quick run over with the big wall mounted vacuum cleaner out in the shed. SWMBO's Camry on the other hand .......... :o

SWMBO has already said she wonders how well it will work on the lounge room furniture .................... I suspect that there was an ulterior motive behind this particular gift ...................:eek::eek:

Didn't get a specific present for our D2 at Christmas per se?

but as my wife's business made some money in the lead up to Christmas, I've booked the Disco in for (overdue) replacement of brake pads, rotors, and the ABS/ETC/HDC shuttle valve in early January.

Thanks Darling :)

Mine got an exchange gearbox after the leaking seal in the original turned out to be a smashed oil pump shoved out of it's nook by a walked shaft. mechanic said there was much black metal in the oil that came out, hence the exchange.

Any feedback from users of similar device? I am very skeptic about it.
It doesn't have a brand name and the entire user guide is in chinese.

A mechanic showed me one a year or so ago. I was amazed at how light it was. He said he'd started a 6cyl petrol volvo 6 times which didn't have enough power in the battery to illuminate the dash lights. On the strength of that test, he'd bought it.
